Wika Transmitter

A pressure sensor (or pressure transmitter) converts the physical quantity 'pressure' into an industry-standard signal. In addition to a wide range of pressure sensors for general industrial applications, we offer special versions for refrigeration/air conditioning technology, the food industry, mobile working machines, medical gases and also the semiconductor industry. Our pressure sensor portfolio covers accuracies from 0.05 %, measuring ranges from 0.05 bar up to 15,000 bar, digital interfaces such as CANopen and IO-Link and also various international approvals, including for hazardous areas.

Special Features

  • Extreme variety, available at short notice from 1 piece
  • High accuracy, low temperature error, selectable adjustment temperature
  • ATEX- and IECEx-approved as “flameproof enclosure” for II 2G Ex db IIC T6...T1 Gb
  • Wide variety of aseptic process connections, for process temperatures up to 150 °C [302 °F]
  • High accuracy, low temperature error, selectable adjustment temperature
  • Accuracy 0.1 %, without additional temperature error in a range of 10 ... 60 °C

Application

A pressure sensor is crucial for accurate pressure measurement in various industrial and process automation applications. Many processes need precisely controlled pressure conditions. Pressure sensors monitor and control machines and systems, enhancing safety, efficiency, and performance.
  • Critical industrial applications, Drilling platforms and pipelines
  • Demanding applications in research and development
  • Harsh environments in the process industry, Refineries and petrochemical industry
  • Indirect measurement of process-relevant metrics such as level, density, flow, or steam temperature
  • Machine building measurement and control technology

Performance characteristics

Unitsbar | psi | kg/cm² | MPa | kPa
Maximum working pressure→ Corresponds to the upper measuring range value / measuring range full scale value
Special measuring rangesFrom 0 ... 0.4 to 0 ... 1,600 bar [0 ... 10 to 0 ... 20,000 psi] available on request. Special measuring ranges have a reduced long-term stability and higher temperature errors.
Overpressure limitThe overpressure limit is based on the measuring range. Depending on the selected process connection and the seal, restrictions in overpressure limit can result. A higher overpressure limit will result in a higher temperature error.
Measuring ranges < 10 bar [150 psi]
  • 3 times
  • 5 times
Measuring ranges ≥ 10 bar [150 psi]
  • 2 times 1)
